Washing Instructions
The washing instructions of your garments sometimes contain extra information.
Here are a few tips on caring for certain fabrics:
Linen
Linen is a natural fabric & can easily loose its shape when it is wet. To restore the garment to its original shape, iron it with a hot steam iron. It is always advisable to iron on the reverse side to keep the sheen of the garment.
Denim
Always wash your jeans inside out to stop them from fading. Remove them from the washing machine as soon as possible to avoid creases on the garment. Your jeans characteristic appearance is a result of special dyeing & washing, as a result of which small pigment particle may remain on the surface of the garment after wash which can rub off.
Knits
Knits should be dried flat to maintain their original shape. Wash them inside out if the garment has any print or any other detailing in front.
Leather
Leather & Suede garments should be sent to dry cleaners that specialize in cleaning such products.
Wool
Use mild detergents when you wash them & set the machine to wool or hand wash. Iron after wash to restore the natural sheen of the garment. Normally even airing the woolen garment is enough.
Details
Take off all removable details & close all Zips & Velcro fastenings before you wash your garment. Always wash delicate garments with details in a laundry bag.
